Built in 1845, the Royals important historic features have been preserved and todays modern Royal continues a third century of traditional, friendly Hebridean hospitality - endorsed by the Hospitality Assured award.
HS-1 has a reputation for innovative and contemporary cuisine, plus a friendly, lighthearted atmosphere, while the cosy, nautically themed Boatshed restaurant is known for its creative use of fresh local ingredients, cooked and served artistically.
There are traditional dishes, as well as a number of flavours inspired by eastern continents. Vegetarians are offered plenty of choice and a childrens menu is also available.
A comprehensive refurbishment programme in 2007 allows us to offer 24 renovated, en-suite rooms, with colour TV, free broadband access, hospitality tray and all you need for a comfortable stay.
