St Columba Hotel - Isle Of Iona - Getting There
Getting there from the Information Centre
From Craignure tourist information centre on Isle of Mull, either take the bus to Fionnphort or by car, take A849 west. This journey takes approximately 70 minutes. From Fionnphort you take the ferry to Iona. Cars may be left at Fionnphort free of charge, in the car park by the Columba Centre but cannot be brought onto Iona.
Getting There by Railway
From Glasgow Queen Street station, there are train services to the ferry terminal at Oban, where a car ferry connects to Craignure on the Isle of Mull. Bus services (connecting with some of the ferries with Oban) run daily across Mull from Craignure to Fionnphort, where the Iona ferry departs.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Glasgow airport, there is a connecting coach to Glasgow Queen Street station and to the coach station.
Getting There by Ferry
From Iona ferry terminal, walk up the road past Spar shop and nunnery ruins. Turn right as if for Iona Abbey. St Columba Hotel is on the right side of the road just before you reach the abbey.
