Ardwell is only 20 minutes from Glasgow Prestwick Airport as well as being close to Ayr, Troon, Kilmarnock and Cumnock. We are only 50 minutes from Glasgow and 75 minutes from Dumfries.
We have modern well appointed en-suite rooms that are flexible, allowing single occupancy or even families up to 5 in number. Each room has it's own TV, tea/coffee making facilities as well as shower room and WC. Access to internet facilities can be arranged.
When you arrive at Ardwell you will be offered tea and coffee and some scrumptious homebaking to revive you after your journey. Breakfasts are delicious affairs whether you go for the standard full cooked or something of your own choice.
We are located in Mauchline which is a small but beautiful village famous for it's associations with Robert Burns, who was at his most prolific whilst staying at a farm next to the village. Mauchline has many other attractions such as the curling stone factory, the Burns Crystal factory and the Burns museum.
Ardwell is typically used as a base for visitors exploring the beautiful local countryside, as a first and last stop for visitors arriving at Glasgow Prestwick or Stranraer and Troon ferry ports, by cyclists and motorists on route from England to the North of Scotland as well as by golfers and sportsmen using the abundant local facilities. We are also used by the many companies with employees working in or visiting the area. Please ask for special rates for extended stays.
