A very warm friendly welcome awaits you at our family run Guesthouse. Tigh-na-Ligh nestles in a quiet residential area, just 5 minutes leisurely stroll from the beautiful promenade and 10 minutes to the town centre.
We offer off-street parking for several cars and motorbikes.
Rosie and Bill offer an immaculately maintained home and pride themselves on their delicious Scottish breakfasts. Our high percentage of repeated business is a testimony to the high quality of our service and hospitality.
Most of our rooms have recently been refurbished to an excellent four star standard. Our first floor rooms have lovely Panaramic views of the hills and on the ground floor the double or twin rooms have a level access to our bright spacious lounge/dining room where you can start your day with delicious Scottish breakfast.
All our spacious en-suite rooms have hospitality tray, Satellite TV, DVD and hairdryer. Ironing facilities, cot and a high chair are available on request.
We also have a secluded decked area where our guests can relax and enjoy a warm summers day.
The lovely Ayrshire town of Largs on Scotland’s beautiful west coast looks out to the islands of Cumbrae, Arran and Bute and has long been a hugely popular sea-side resort.Largs is the ideal base from which to explore the west coast islands, Loch Lomond, the Trossachs, Glasgow with both Glasgow and Prestwick airport only 40 minutes drive.
There is a wide selection of activities available in Largs which is a perfect destination for those who want to relax and take it easy and those who want to have an action-packed time.The Inverclyde Sports Centre is only a few minutes walk from our Guest House as is the Vikingar complex, which houses a swimming pool, sauna, gym, cinema, café, bar, putting green as well as an interactive, historical Viking experience. Largs has 2 golf courses, extensive water sports and sailing facilities, bowls, 10 pin bowling, play parks, fishing, diving and many other sport and leisure activities.
The Waverly Paddle Steamer makes regular trips from Largs throughout the summer and there is a regular ferry service to the islands, making it easy to explore the West Coast on water.
Largs has so much to offer: shops, the tempting cafés, restaurants and bars, the wonderful walks. This along with the breath-taking scenery and friendly, Scottish welcome makes people want to come back again and again.
