The attractive Victorian property offers both private and en suite bedrooms with twin, double, single and standard rooms are available. Each of the rooms is tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and quality furniture, and has tea and coffee facilities, a flat screen TV and free Wi-Fi. If you are travelling with children, a cot and high chair can also be provided.
A hearty breakfast is served between 7.30 and 9am, consisting of fruit juice, fruit segments, a choice of cereals, porridge, a full Scottish breakfast with all the trimmings, or a lighter option of poached or scrambled egg on toast, with as much tea, coffee and toast as you like. An earlier breakfast can be arranged and tasty packed lunches can be provided. Vegetarians and ceoliacs and most other dietary requirements can be catered for, if requested in advance. For other meals there are several good restaurants, traditional pubs and cosy cafés in town.
Here you are just a short walk away from Stranraer town centre, with all its shops and visitor attractions. During your stay, visit the beautiful Castle Kennedy Gardens with its beautiful lochs and giant lily pond, explore the fantastic Stranraer Museum, see the historic Castle of St John and spot interesting birdlife at the RSPB Mull of Galloway, located at the southern most point of the Rhinns of Galloway near Drummore. This is also the perfect base for hillwalking and exploring the long-distance route, the Southern Upland Way.
