Rosebank - Argyll

Rosebank is a substantial granite building built in the 1880s. It is situated in the old village road off the main Glasgow to Oban road in a quiet part of the village. Views of Loch Etive, Ben Lora and the hills to the north can be seen.
Connel is 2.5 miles from Dunstaffinage Castle. 7 miles from Bonawe Iron Furnace, 7 miles from the Sea Life Centre and 4 miles from Rare Breeds Park. Connel is an excellent centre for touring by car to Inveraray, Fort William or historical sites around Kilmartin south of Oban. It is also only 5 miles from Oban for accessing the ferries for the Western Isles.
The railway station is 5 minutes walk from the house and the bus stop 3 minutes.
Rosebank is furnished throughout with antique furniture. Breakfasts are traditionally Scottish with home made preserves a speciality. Real oatmeal porridge is served on request. Hand knitted garments and toys are for sale. Large productive garden at rear of house. Pets and children are extremely welcome.
