1745 Laird's House, now a relaxing B&B.
Welcome to Claonairigh House, which has been sympathetically restored into a relaxing, comfortable, family run B&B with warm and friendly hospitality and great breakfasts! We are set in 7 acres of gardens and woodland, including the River Douglas with abundant flora and fauna, red deer and squirrels (the latter very shy) to woodpeckers and siskins, wild orchids to enormous Scots pine trees. Surrounded by forests and miles and miles of forest tracks there is no shortage of places to walk/cycle/run as the fancy takes you. Only 4 miles from the historic township of Inveraray with its many attractions and excellent places to eat.

We have two twin bedded en-suite rooms situated on the top floor and one double, with 4-poster bed also en-suite on the first floor. All rooms have tea/coffee facilities, DVD, video, satellite TV, radio/alarms etc. After you have been invited into the guest sitting room/dining room you can do as little or as much as you like.

N.B. We have the most essential of machines at work in the garden the MIDGE MAGNET and so far....the results are good!

Things to do
Claonairigh is an ideal base for exploring Scotland's stunning west coast with its many lochs and small historic towns and villages, and even for a day trip to Mull and/or Iona. Within 4 miles there is horse riding, golfing, swimming, shopping, restaurants, coffee houses, museums, etc. For the more energetic there is also bungee jumping, climbing wall, laser quest and laser clay shooting. We also have a large and varied collection of video/DVD which you are very welcome to borrow. Ample parking.
