Nether Boreland (Lockerbie)

Just a short distance from the M74, Nether Boreland is a delightful and traditional farmhouse, where you can enjoy a taste of life in the quiet Dumfriesshire village and try carriage driving on the farm.
This charming property provides first-class, spacious accommodation, excellent hospitality and access to a whole host of outdoor activities. The farm’s beautifully decorated bedrooms, two double (one en suite, one private bath) and one twin (en suite) have tea and coffee facilities, TV, clock radio, hair dryer and much more. The welcoming visitors’ lounge has a huge open fire, TV and stereo and the farmhouse allows you to bring pets and horses. A delicious breakfast is included but packed lunches and an evening meal can be arranged, if booked in advance.
After enjoying a freshly cooked Scottish breakfast or something lighter, why not have a scenic carriage drive? The farm is part of the carriage driving centre, Chariots of Fire Driving Centre, so you can take part in lessons and activities with one of the horses here. Be sure to head out and explore the surrounding Scottish countryside or enjoy one of the many activities available locally including golf, fishing, stalking and quad bike riding. Alternatively, why not tackle one of the fantastic walking or cycling routes? The picturesque Land's End to John o' Groats route is conveniently located right by the farm.
