St Elmo Guest House - Getting There

Getting there from the Information Centre

From the Tourist Information Centre on Union Street, either take the number 12 bus in Bridge St. going to Northfield or going by car with Marischal College on your right, go along Gallowgate to Mounthooly Roundabout. Take the 2nd exit via Causeway End, Powis Place, Powis Terrace taking the left fork at the Northern Hotel. Turn left at the traffic lights into Hilton Street and at Rosehill Roundabout turn right into Hilton Drive and find St Elmo on the right hand side near the entrance to The Campus.

Getting There by Car

From the South (A90) or West (A944 or A93): Follow the A90 ringroad (to Peterhead) for 3 miles until you see a sign for University, Old Aberdeen (past the fire station). Follow this sign by turning right into Cairncry Road and then turn left at the Rosehill roundabout, with a large granite church on the corner, into Hilton Drive. We are found on the right beyond the entrance to The Campus.
From the North or Inverness: Follow the A96 dual carriageway into Aberdeen. Turn right at the Haudagan roundabout into North Anderson Drive, by following the signs South for Perth, Dundee. Turn second left into Hilton Drive. "St Elmo" is at the far end of the street, on the left.

Getting There by Railway

From Aberdeen Railway Station catch #5 going to Dubford or #12 bus going to Northfield, in Guild Street. Get off at the second stop after Rosehill Roundabout in Hilton Drive. Cross over the road and find St Elmo next to The Campus entrance.

Getting there by Aeroplane

From Aberdeen Airport, take the A96 to Aberdeen via Bucksburn dual carriageway. At the Haudigan Roundabout turn right into North Anderson Drive, by following the signs for Dundee and Perth. Then take the 2nd left turnoff into Hilton Drive. St Elmo is on the left at the far end of this road, next to the entrance to The Campus estate.

Getting There by Ferry

From Aberdeen Harbour, go up Market Street and catch the number 5 or 12 bus going to Dubford or Northfield. Get off at the second stop after Rosehill roundabout in Hilton Drive. Crossover the road and find St Elmo next to The Campus entrance.
