Mainhill - Getting There
Getting there from the Information Centre
Go south on the A68, pass the Buccleuch Arms Hotel and take the second turning right signposted Charlefield (about half a mile). Mainhill is the second turning on the right, about 1/4 mile from the main road.
If you are walking:
From the Buccleuch Arms Hotel walk south on the A68 towards Jedburgh for 1/2 to 3/4 mile. Take the second road to the right, Charlesfield Road and walk up Charlesfield Road for 1/4 mile. Then 2nd right. The house can not be seen from the road. The drive goes up by some cottages.
Rather than walk on the road it is better to walk on the green. Cross the Kelso road to the tennis courts. At the tennis courts a track will then take you to almost opposite Charlesfield Road.
Getting There by Car

Mainhill is situated about one mile from St Boswells Post Office. From the Buccleuch Arms Hotel travel south on the A68 towards Jedburgh. Take the second turning on the right signposted Charlesfield Weighbridge. My drive is the second turning on the right, by the cottages.
