Skirling House - Getting There
Getting there from the Information Centre
From Biggar Tourist Information Centre leave town heading north, as to Edinburgh. Immediately outside Biggar take A72 east (signed to Peebles) to Skirling (approx. 1.5 miles from junction).From Peebles Tourist Information Centre head west along High Street and follow A72 to Skirling (follow signs for Biggar until reaching Skirling).
Getting There by Railway
Nearest Railway stations are Edinburgh and Lanark.
From Waverley Station, Edinburgh, follow directions by car or bus. From Lanark take bus to Biggar and change.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Edinburgh Airport follow the signs to city centre, shortly after leaving airport and joining A8 take city bypass A720 follow to A702 and follow to near Biggar then take A72 east (signed to Peebles) to Skirling (approx. 1.5 miles from junction). From Glasgow Airport follow M8 towards city centre then follow signs for Carlisle M74, follow M74 to junction 13 then follow A702, signed to Biggar. Continue through Biggar heading North and immediately outside Biggar take A72 as above.
