Built in 1898, this beautiful Victorian sandstone villa has guest bedrooms which are large and comfortably furnished. Tea and coffee facilities, a television, information brochure with map, and private or en suite facilities, are provided along with ample parking at the rear of the house and a secure storage facility for bicycles.
For breakfast there is a mouth-watering choice of fruit juice, fruit, yogurt and cereals followed by a delicious traditional Scottish cooked breakfast with all the trimmings, all which can be washed down with unlimited tea, coffee and toast. Most dietary requirements can be catered for if you advise when you book your accommodation.
The Food Town of Castle Douglas offers a distinctive range of shops selling gifts and local produce, excellent restaurants, traditional pubs and cosy cafés, plus a swimming pool, theatre and small brewery. Spend days visiting the magnificent Threave Castle and Gardens, follow the Red Kite Trail, enjoy water sports at Loch Ken, and explore the many lovely gardens, walks and beautiful beaches which are located nearby.
