Barn Cottage and Stables - Getting There

Getting there from the Information Centre

From Tobermory orCraignure Tourist Information Centres travel to Salen and take the turning signposted Gribun and Iona. After approximately 2 miles after passing a church on the lefrt, take the turning left signposted the NTS property MacQuaries Mausoleum.
Barn Cottage car park is on the right hand side immediately after passing through the Deer Gate.

Getting There by Ferry

From Craignure or Fishnish Ferries turn right onto the main road to Tobermory. Once in Salen, turn left at main junction signposted Giuline, Kinloch Ulva Ferry. After approximately 2 miles, passing a church on the left, follow the NTS sign for the MacQuarie Mausoleum. Barn Cottage car park is on the right hand side immediately after passing through the Deer Gate.
