Laurel Bank is situated in the pretty little village of Milngavie which is 7 kms north west of Glasgow, easily reached by car or train from the city centre stations or by bus from Buchanan Bus Station. You can contact us by email or telephone for availability and any further details.
Laurel Bank is an ideal starting (or finishing) point for the West Highland Way and is convenient for Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. Also many picturesque local walks can be taken from the house without the need for any transport. The train station into Glasgow city centre is only 5 minutes walk with trains running every 15 minutes, 7 days a week. The journey time is approximately 23 minutes. Buses to Glasgow and Stirling can be had from stops close by the house and run every 30 - 60 minutes, 7 days a week. A number of local pubs are within easy walking distance together with some more formal restaurants with excellent food
