Durie House

Durie House B&B is a cosy family house 10 miles west of Peterhead. Private facilities may be available on request. It is an ideal stop for visiting North East Scotland with its beautiful unspoilt beaches and walking, cycling, golfing, fishing and bird watching opportunities. Nearby Cruden Bay has a championship golf course, lovely golden beach and Slains Castle which was the inspiration for Bram Stokers Dracula. At Crimond you have Loch of Strathbeg RSPB reserve. Bullers of Buchan has spectacular sea cliffs where you can see breeding sea birds including puffins. Not far away is Aden Country Park which has a farming museum and walks.
Pennan is along the coast from Fraserburgh famous for the film Local Hero. There is also the Formartine and Buchan Way whihc is 54 miles long and suitable for walking and cycling. It links Dyce, Ellon, Maud, Fraserburgh and Peterhead.
