A warm welcome awaits at Cuidhe Leathain.
Situated in Upper Tobermory, there is parking available to the front and side of Cuidhe Leathain
The Dining Room.
Breakfast is served between 8a.m. and 9 a.m. and can be served earlier or later by arrangement. The menu includes fruit juices and cereals, as well as fresh fruit, fruit compote and yoghurts. Porridge is made the way Jeannette was taught by her Granny Morrison. Main courses include Loch Fynne Kippers, Tobermory Smoked Trout and local free range eggs whichever way you want them, as well as the choice of a full Scottish breakfast.
The Sitting Room.
The sitting room has an original Victorian fireplace, which can provide a particularly warm welcome on a chilly day. There are books galore and games provided include dominoes and an interesting 'political' chess set. CDs provided range from traditional Scottish music to Jazz, Classical and American Bluegrass. Live music is often provided by Alan when he brings out his guitar! Sky Television is also available.
The Super King Bedroom.
The Super King bedroom has sofa and views over the Sound of Mull to the Morven Hills. Television is provided in all rooms, in addition to tea and coffee making facilities, chocolates, shortbread and mineral waters. This room has 6ft zip-together mattress and can be split into twin. It has a separate private bathroom with large Victorian bath.
The King Double.
The King Double has 5 ft mattress and has en-suite facilities. It has views over Tobermory to the south of the island.
The Standard Double/Single.
The Standard Double has h/c handbasin. It can be let for single occupancy in tandem with the Super King bedroom (i.e. party of three people) and shares the separate private bathroom of the Super King.
Alan and Jeannette Hodson & friends.
There is a secure and secluded garden at Cuidhe Leathain. Picnic tables and loungers are available for guests and, as well as their own two Beardies (Scottish Bearded Collie dogs), Alan & Jeannette welcome well behaved guest dogs. Children over 12 years of age welcome.
