Getting there from the Information Centre
At the roundabout follow signes for Longtown A6071 in aproximatly 1.5 miles turn left at signpost to Springfield and Gretna Green, Barrasgate House is 600 yards on left

From the south:
At Carlisle the M6 J44 becomes the A74. 6 miles further North. Take the junction off the A74, signposted Gretna and Longtown A6071. Turn right, following the signs for Longtown. Follow this road for about a mile, and take the second junction on the left, for Gretna Green and Springfield. Our house is the first on the left.
From the north:
Leave the M74 at the junction 22 signposted Gretna Green and Longtown (A6071). At the first roundabout go straight on, following the signs for Longtown, and at the second roundabout turn right, continuing to follow the Longtown signs. Continue up this road for about one mile, past a farm and some bungalows, our house is on the right.

The nearest airports are Newcastle and Glasgow, both about an hour's drive away
