Barrasgate House Gretna Green, is a farm croft converted at the turn of the 19th centuary, situated on the old coaching route to Carlisle via Longtown. only five minutes from the main routes north-south and east-west, the M6/M74 and A7, suiting those wanting to break their journey, or escape from the urban life. Stay awhile, have a peaceful holiday, come enjoy our acre of gardens, surrounded by farmland and broad leafed woodland.
To make your stay really cosy, all rooms are on the ground and first floor and are tastefully decorated and re-furbished, with comfortable quality beds. All rooms have a hair-dryer, digital TV, central heating, Wi-Fi internet connection and a hospitality tray. Our Sark Gold room and ground floor suite have a large deep bath and also a spa shower with massages jets.
Please note we ask guests to observe a quite rule after 11-00 pm to enable other guests to have piecefull nights rest, there is no provision for guests to return to our guest house after midnight unless they have our very special permision.

Food is selected from our local farm shop produce; and our menus are suitable for most tastes.
If you would like to sample them, porridge, haggis and black pudding are just some of the specialty foods from our area on the breakfast menu.
