Angus House

This B&B offers you a relaxing stay in the quieter residential part of Gretna, but still a prime location for discovering the region’s fantastic visitor attractions and for getting active in the great outdoors.
The bedrooms at Angus House are very comfortably furnished with cosy beds, ample storage facilities and a TV. For your comfort, tea and coffee facilities and complimentary toiletries are provided in each of the rooms. Secure storage facilities, as well as ample street parking, are also available.
After a fantastic night’s stay enjoy a breakfast of your choice and start your day with either a delicious full Scottish cooked breakfast or one of the lighter options.
Dumfries & Galloway is steeped in history and during your stay you can visit one of Scotland's finest castles, Caerlaverock, which has a moat, twin towered gatehouse and imposing battlements, making it a magnificent example of a medieval stronghold. Drumlanrig Castle, the 17th century Renaissance 'pink palace', should not be missed either.
However, if you would prefer to discover the region’s wildlife, the cliffs of the nearby Solway Firth attract thousands of wild geese, swans and other birds from autumn until late spring. The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust Nature Reserve at Caerlaverock meanwhile, is simply a must if you like seeing birds in their natural habitats.
