Getting There by Railway
From Edinburgh Waverley train station take the bus from St Andrews Square, Edinburgh to Galashiels bus station.
Walk along Market Street to Galashiels town hall (building with large clock tower). Cross Albert Place and turn left up hill on Lawyers Brae.
Getting there by Aeroplane
Edinburgh Airport exit towards A8, sign posted for Edinburgh. At the Gogar Junction branch left onto City Bypass. At the Gogar Roundabout exit onto Edinburgh Bypass South A720. Exit bypass at Sheriffhall Roundabout sign posted for Galashiels. Follow the A7 Borders route to Galashiels and then follow the A7 through Galashiels (sign posted for Hawick)
At Galashiels town hall (building with large clock tower), bear left following A7 to Hawick. At the first roundabout turn hard right into Scott Crescent. At the monument in the centre of the road, turn right into Elm Row, bears left into Lawyers Brae, and Craigielea is on the left.
