"Carnlea" is a small B & B run by Meg and Bill. It offers a warm, friendly welcome in quality accommodation where you can be assured of clean comfortable rooms. We serve a delicious and varied breakfast and cater for special needs when requested in advance. Twin beds can be converted into a king size.
"Carnlea" is situated in a relaxing location with outstanding views over the surrounding Esk Valley hills only a few minutes from the centre of Langholm. We are a non-smoking establishment, however guests can use our Spanish styled covered porch with comfortable seating. A lock-up garage and drying facilities are available to those who are persuing outdoor activities.
We are an ideal starting point for walkers, cyclists, golfers (9 hole course 5 minutes walk away) birdwatchers, shooters and wildlife enthusiasts.
Situated amidst the beautiful Esk Valley, which lies on the historic route to the Scottish Borders, Langholm is well situated for visiting the Borders, Solway Coast and Carlisle. Edinburgh and Glasgow are easily accessible as are Hadrian's Wall and the North Lakes.
