This friendly intimate Bed & Breakfast is located in an excellent position between Prestwick and Ayr. The Shinnel has a double room and a twin room which are both bright and comfortable. Each room has a TV and hospitality tray and a full breakfast is provided. Packed picnic style breakfasts are available for those leaving on very early flights.

With lots of amenities including close to the beautiful esplanade walk, the Scottish Tennis Centre and a short walk away is the town centre with shops and a wide selection of restaurants, bars and cafes. Prestwick Golf Club (the home of the First Open Championship) is close by and Royal Troon and Turnberry are within easy access. There are also many municipal golf courses of high quality which can be played at very reasonable rates. Burns Cottage - The birth place of Scotland's National Bard Robert Burns and the famous Brig O' Doon are local attractions. Culzean Castle with its superb views over the Firth of Clyde and its massive country park are not to be missed when visiting this area.

Glasgow, Edinburgh and Loch Lomond can be visited in a day trip from Prestwick.
