This stunningly designed B&B, situated in the quiet residential area of Kirkcudbright, looks out onto the pretty town centre and Dee estuary.
The property was built by the Blaikie family in 2001 and has a number of interesting architectural features. The beautifully decorated double room has a luxurious en suite with a large sunken corner bath and separate shower cubicle. Alternatively, the homely family room has an en suite walk-in shower room, the option of a cot which can be converted into a bed to suit a child up to seven years old, as well as other little extras to make your stay here comfortable and enjoyable. For your convenience tea and coffee facilities, a television and a hairdryer are provided in each of the rooms.
A tasty breakfast is served daily and if you plan to head out early, delicious packed lunches can be provided. Please advise when booking of any dietary requirements.
There is ample parking, both on- and off-street, and secure storage for bicycles and other equipment as well as other facilities which will help make your stay a memorable one.
During your stay in Kirkcudbright, walk around the picturesque harbour, visit the historic Tolbooth and castle and don’t miss the chance to explore the many fantastic art galleries and craft shops which make this Artists' Town so special. For those of you looking for an active break, nearby there is a tennis court, an 18-hole golf course and a swimming pool. Walking and cycling trails are also within easy reach and activity centres offer more high-octane adventure, such as abseiling and various watersports.
