The Croft House Bed and Breakfast on the stunning Hebridean Isle of South Uist
The Crofthouse, a Visit Scotland ‘three star’ bed and breakfast, is situated within the traditional crofting township of Milton, the birth place of the Jacobite heroine, Flora MacDonald. We offer the best of island hospitality in the setting of a traditional working croft.

For visitors to the island of South Uist, the Croft House is close to all the major amenities. Arrangements can be made to ‘pick up’ visitors at Lochboisdale ferry terminal, six miles from the Croft House.
The world-renowned Askernish Golf Course www.askernishgolfclub.com is only five minutes away by car. For hillwalkers, birdwatchers, and cyclists there is easy access to the unsurpassed beauty of the islands. For those who wish to enjoy the 22 miles of practically uninterrupted white sand on the 22 miles of beach on the west side of the island, the Croft House is close at hand.
For those interested in taking advantage of the unsurpassed fishing for sea trout, salmon, and brown trout help can be given by your hosts.
