The Gareloch Shore is only 5 mins walk from Easter Garth, and offers a few good fishing spots along its coast line

The Highland Games comes to Rosneath and the surrounding area in July

A true taste of Scotland comes to Rosenath in July - with a leg of the Highland Games - Bagpipes - Dancing and the Games are only a short walk away

we have a wedding to attend
and the Ladies have gone without us !!

The good looking young men, are part of a wedding party - we looked after the groom, best man and friends for the wedding. They enjoyed an evening meal and the flexibility of our rooms, allowed them to book the house for the week-end - so, the party continued into the early hours.

Rosneath has a number of Marinas and boat yards- as well as the Navy Ships of Faselane

In past times the Gareloch was a much used for shipping - today it has a more relaxed feel to it.

See the stunning Clyde estuary from the Kilcreggan Ferry, it's a great mini-cruise

Only 5 mins in the car to Kilcreggan from Easter Garth - the ferry operates all year round between Kilcreggan, Helensburgh and Gourock and it's a great mini-cruise. crossing time to Helensburgh is less than 25 minuites. From Gourock you can also cross over to Dunoon - or a train into Central Glasgow -so, why not make a day of it !!

This rainbow was taken from the top rooms of Easter Garth - towards Rhu Sailing Club - The clean air here in Scotland seems to make everthing clearer....

There are a few walks in the area, with the most stunning views with in very easy reach and with pre-set pathways, so no need for Mountain boots ......
