Glenapp Castle - Getting There
Getting there from the Information Centre
From Ayr follow Signs for A77 - Stranraer. Thirteen miles South of Girvan, you will pass through the village of Ballantrae, crossing the River Stinchar as you leave. Take the first turning on the RIGHT, 100 yards beyond the river (not sign posted). Continue along this road for almost a mile until you see the closed wrought iron gates of the castle and the adjacent North Lodge house. The gates are kept closed in order to preserve the privacy of the grounds and are automatically controlled. Please use the telephone entry system provided.
Getting There by Railway

Getting there by Aeroplane
From Glasgow join the M8 motorway eastbound towards Glasgow City Centre and Edinburgh. Exit the M8 at junction 24. Follow the signs for the A77/M77 towards Prestwick Airport and Kilmarnock. Continue on the A77 southbound through the outskirts of Ayr. Continue on the A77 towards Stranraer, through Maybole, Girvan.
