"Lismore" is a prime site for observing the dolphins that frequent the Moray Firth, and is within easy walking distance of Bow Fiddle and the sandy beach.
The Portknockie Experience walk, which starts and ends at the Portknockie Local Heritage Point at The Library 23 Park Street, is well worth completing to gain an insight into local history and the Fishing Heritage of the village
