Ardoch Lodge

Two log cabins and a cottage set in 12 acres of grounds providing an idyllic retreat from which to explore this beautiful part of Scotland. The grounds which include wooded areas, lawns with rhododendrons and azaleas, a walled garden, wildflower meadow and a riverside walk provide a haven for wildlife. Red squirrels often visit the bird tables outside your window as will many birds. You may see deer and bats and there are occasional sightings of pine martens and otters.

The log cabins are in a wooded area some distance from Ardoch Lodge which we run as a B&B, and the cottage, converted from the old stables, is across a courtyard from the house. They are furnished and equipped to the highest standards providing many extras to make your holiday home more comfortable. Each has a double bedded bedroom, a twin bedded bedroom, a bathroom, living room and a kitchen area. They are cleaned and serviced between each visit, beds made up and towels provided. Our laundry room is equipped with automatic washing machines, tumble dryers and a telephone. Cot and highchair available at no charge. Pets most welcome (no charge). All rooms on the ground floor.

Pets are most welcome at Ardoch Lodge. There are walks for you and your dogs within the grounds and abundant walking straight from the door onto the hillsides or along the loch side.

This is an ideal location for walking, birdwatching, garden and castle visiting, touring, cycling, playing golf, or just relaxing. Ardoch Lodge is on the outskirts of the village of Strathyre, near the small towns of Callander and Killin, within easy driving distance of Stirling and Perth and we are in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.
