North Booth - Images

Bathroom includes full size bath with attached shower/hair washing facility, wash-handbasin and toilet. there is a heated towel rail and a separate wall heater . The floor is tiled with optional under floor heating

North Booth's garden is enclosed by a dry stone dyke which separates it from the surrounding croft land . It has a fabulous view overlooking Bluemull Sound with the islands of Broch Holm, Lang Holm and Round Holm in the foreground . On the other side of the sound the view in includes Yell and Gloup Holm. Immediate "neighbours " often include several Shetland Ponies and sheep.

North Booth has its own self contained garden which is well sheltered by the surrounding dry stone dyke and shrubs which provides an excellent home to several of Britain's smallest bird the Shetland wren. It is an ideal spot to sit and admire wonderful vistas of Westing Bay as well as watching gannets, seals , eider ducks and sometimes otters & orcas fishing without moving from the garden ! It is also a wonderful spot to enjoy marvellous sunsets.

Access to North Booth is via a track across the top of the beach. Parking is possible outside the gate of the garden but if preferred there is a designated parking area at the south end of the beach 150m form the house.
