Laurelbank has a large mature garden and is built of stone from the nearby hills. The house has a specimen copper beach in the centre of the garden, surrounded by a manicured lawn and made totally secure by perimeter dry-stone walling. Aberfeldy is situated on Scotland's longest river, the River Tay in highland Perthshire. It grew up around Wade's Bridge, the first bridge built across the Upper River Tay in 1733 by the English general who subjugated the highlands after Bonnie Prince Charlie's rebellion in 1745. Famous for the 'Birks of Aberfeldy', a poem by Robert Burns in memory of the beautiful Falls of Moness, it’s one of Scotland's best-known holiday towns.
Visit the stunning natural beauty of Loch Tay; the conservation village of Kenmore; the unique iron age Scottish Crannog Centre; Perthshire's highest mountain Ben Lawers at 3,984 feet; and Glenlyon "the longest and loveliest glen in Scotland". Or the 16th Century Castle Menzies, and Fortingall, a village where legend has it Pontious Pilate, who ordered the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, was born - and also home to the Fortingall Yew, a tree between 3,000 - 5,000 years old believed to be the oldest living thing in Europe.
The cottages are extremely well equipped and contains a radio/cassette/CD player, a book library, games, payphone, iron, ironing board, travel cot and highchair. The houses is fully double glazed with gas central heating throughout. Duvets with linen are provided and ample towels are available.
Lavender Cottage has been thoughtfully and tastefully designed with each room having co-ordinating fabrics, furniture and carpets. The living/dining room has a pine mantle with living flame fire, widescreen colour TV with Sky and DVD player with library, and a curved pine feature staircase. French doors lead to Victoria n conservatory and then outside to a secure secluded patio and garden area with barbeque, garden furniture and with wonderful views across of the surrounding countryside to Weem Rock and the foothills of the mountain of Farragon.

We also have a portable blackout blind, which can be attached to most of our bedroom windows.
