Dell of Abernethy
The Dell of Abernethy sits on the edge of the Abernethy forest, 1 mile from the centre of Nethy Bridge, surrounded by river flat grazing and dwarfed by oak and horse chestnut.
Our six charming stone built cottages set in safe, secluded grounds provide a peaceful escape and great base for exploring the wilds of the Cairngorm National Park
A labyrinth of forest tracks lead out from the doorstep of the Dell, ideal for squirel, deer and bird spotting, mountain biking and cross country ski-ing. A 30 minute drive will take you to the top of the Cairngorms, into the heart of Rothiemurchus or up into the wild moorlands en route to the Moray coast beaches.
Each cottage has it's own private aspect and sleeps between two and seven guests. Four have been converted from the wings of the grade 2 listed main house c1780 and a further two have been added in a garden bungalow.
