Albion House, the Upper half of a Victorian villa is our home in Scotland - we live in England (ex-pats).It is situated in Dumbarton, a town which is know as the gateway to the Highlands. Albion House is situated in Round Riding Road which is one of the town's premier streets. The property is a few minutes walk away from the main line station with trains to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Fort William and Oban. The town centre is just 5 minutes walk away.By car you are 10 minutes drive from Loch Lomond and the pretty, seaside town of Helensburgh is also close by. The famous "Trossachs" are also within easy driving distance. The cosmopolotan city of Glasgow is only 15 miles away with it's huge variety of shops,restraunts and visitor attractions. The town of Dumbarton is an ideal base to discover the stunning scenery of Scotland and the ski slopes and mountains of Glencoe,Glenshee and the Nevis range are 2-3 hours drive away.
The property comprises a sitting room, dining room, kitchen,hallway and bathroom with shower and bath. There are three double bedrooms with twin beds in each room (all excellent quality e.g Harrods).All bedrooms have radio alarm clocks and electric blankets. All bed linen and towels are provided with beds made up for your arrival. The sitting room has a colour television,Video Recorder and DVD player.A selection of films are available to watch. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker,fridge freezer,microwave,dishwasher,washing machine and tumble drier. The house is furnished to a high standard with many antique pieces including lovely paintings.Albion House is fully double glazed with gas central heating which ensures a cosy stay even in winter.There is off-street parking and the use of a lovely private garden.
