Birchwood Cottage
Birchwood Cottage is a traditional slate roofed 2 storey dwelling situated in a peaceful rural location ½ mile from the centre of the historic village of Braemar. The cottage is set in a 1 acre garden with lovely views to the River Dee and the edge of the Cairngorms.
There are excellent walks in and around the village.
On the ground floor the cottage has a good sized L-shaped lounge with a wood burning stove, a separate dining room, a well appointed kitchen and a bathroom with an electric shower, washbasin and toilet. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one double bedded and one twin bedded. On request a fifth bed can be provided for use in the lounge.
Off road parking is available to the side of the cottage. Guests in the cottage have full use of the garden.
Well behaved dogs (2 maximum) are welcome by prior arrangement.
There are electric panel heaters in all rooms. Electricity is supplied via a £1 coin fed meter. Logs are supplied at a nominal cost. An information pack is provided detailing all local amenities, shops and places to eat.
