Getting there from the Information Centre
From Dunoon: follow A815 North to Sandbank. Continue on road to Benmore and turn right at Cot House for Kilmun. One mile from turnoff is Kilmun Church. 'Fintry' is in a lane immediately after the 30 mph limit sign and church on the left, and is the first house on the right behind a beech hedge.
Getting There by Railway
From Glasgow Central Station: take train to Gourock Pier and then ferry across to Dunoon. Bus or taxi service to Kilmun (6 miles). 'Fintry' is in a lane immediately after Kilmun Church on the left, and is the first house on the right behind a beech hedge.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Glasgow Airport: take M8 to Greenock and then continue to Gourock and catch either Caledonian MacBrayne ferry to Dunoon or continue for another 2 miles and catch Western Ferries to Hunter's Quay, Dunoon. Disembark and follow road signs to Sandbank. Continue on road to Benmore and turn right at Cot House for Kilmun. One mile from turnoff is Kilmun Church.
