Farmhouse bed and breakfast accommodation (all en-suite) on an upland sheep farm 12 miles North of Dumfries town. Pet and Children friendly Boreland Farm is an ideal centre for a relaxing, touring or activity holiday.

Come and relax in the welcoming, warm and friendly atmosphere of Boreland Farm with its traditionally-built, 19th century farmhouse, set in the rolling countryside of Dumfriesshire. Offering a choice of family, double, twin, and single, en-suite bedrooms which have each been beautifully decorated, Boreland offers the perfect rural retreat. Each of the spacious rooms have tea and coffee facilities, a colour television, a DVD player - with a selection of films available - free internet access. Well-behaved pets are welcome in the house and kenneling is available for working dogs outside. Ample private parking is also available.

Set in 365 acres of rolling farmland, there is plenty to keep the whole family entertained. Go cycling or walk the farmland, or spend the day fishing on the River Cairn (when in season) - it runs through the farm so it’s absolutely free to fish. Here you are also ideally located near to the historic market town of Dumfries and all its attractions, including the fantastic Dumfries Museum and Camera Obscura - climb to the top to enjoy magnificent panoramic views of the town and the surrounding area. If you enjoy mountain biking, the world-class 7stanes mountain biking centres, Ae Forest , Mabie Forest and Dalbeattie, are all within easy reach and many challenging golf courses can also be found nearby.
