South Whittlieburn Farm - Getting There
Getting there from the Information Centre
From Largs Tourist Office our working sheep farm is situated North East of Largs only 5 minutes by car, travel approximately 0.5 miles along A78 Shore Road past the Vikingar complex, signpost for Brisbane Glen Road (Douglas Street), drive for approximately 2 miles, it is the second farm on left hand side, but only one on roadside.
Getting There by Railway
From Central Station Glasgow trains run usually every hour to Largs (approximately 45 minutes). From Largs station travel approximately 0.5 miles along A78 Shore Road, past the pier and turn off at Brisbane Glen Road and drive for approximately 2 miles to farm, taxi available from station.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Glasgow Airport take A737 road to Lochwinnoch then take the A760 Kilbirnie/Largs road (approximately 35 minutes). From Prestwick Airport take A78 road to Largs approximately (35 minutes).
Getting There by Ferry
From Gourock ferry travel on A78 to Largs(approximately 20 minutes) and turn left at signpost for Brisbane Glen Road (Douglas Street), on Largs seafront and drive for approximately 2 miles to farm. From Largs ferry travel approximately 0.5 miles along A78 Shore Road heading for Greenock and turn right at Large sign post for Brisbane Glen Road (Douglas Street), just past Vikingar complex, drive for approximately 2 miles to second farm on left.
