From Helensburgh Tourist Information Centre at clock tower on seafront, travel north up Sinclair Street A818, after passing through 3 sets of traffic lights take fourth turn on left into Millig Street, turn first left into Colquhoun Street and Balmillig entrance is first left.

From Glasgow and the South, travel west on M8, following signs for Loch Lomond and Erskine Bridge, cross bridge to join A82, exit left from bridge and follow Loch Lomond signs. About 12 miles, at fourth roundabout take first exit onto A818 to Helensburgh. In Helensburgh turn right just before traffic island, first turn left into Colquhoun Street and Balmillig entrance is first left.
From the North, Exit A82 onto A818 to Helensburgh. In Helensburgh turn right just before traffic island, first turn left into Colquhoun Street and Balmillig entrance is first left.
Getting There by Railway
From Helensburgh Upper entrance, turn right, walk downhill, turn fourth right turn, first left into Colquhoun Street, Balmillig entrance on left. From Helensburgh Central entrance turn right, turn right at traffic lights and walk uphill until reach traffic island, turn left into Millig Street, turn first left into Colquhoun Street, Balmillig entrance is first left.
Getting there by Aeroplane

Foot passenger/cyclists ferry at piers.Walk/cycle straight ahead up Colquhoun Street, cross six junctions, Balmillig is on the right.
