Glenardoch House

Information enquiry Booking

"Choose the quality of a traditional 18th century stone-built house by historical Doune Castle. Set in its own riverside gardens, next to the old bridge. Peaceful location. Excellent base for exploring the Trossachs and Western Highlands.

Standing on the original site of Doune Village, Glenardoch House sits in its own private and mature Victorian gardens alongside the Ardoch Burn, with its feature stone humpback bridge dating from 1733.

The house itself, originally Doune Cottage, was considerably enlarged in the mid 19th Century by Alexander Ferguson, a local confectioner who had made his fortune after inventing Edinburgh Rock.

Retaining its original features, Glenardoch House is now a large, comfortable and stylish family home.

The house is minutes from the village and Doune Castle - beautifully restored and open to the public daily.

We are sure you will enjoy your stay with us."
