The Steading - Roslin - Getting There
Getting there from the Information Centre
From Princes Street Tourist Information Centre (ESIC) turn right onto North Bridge. Drive in a southerly direction over North Bridge, which becomes South Bridge and then Nicolson Street. Stay on this road out of city following signs for Penicuik/Peebles (A701). Follow sign for Roslin/Rosslyn Chapel and once in the village follow signs for Rosslyn Chapel. Turn up to the left at the Chapel and The Steading is approximately 100 metres up a road, flanked by two stone pillars.
Getting There by Railway
Come out of station and turn left then left again at small roundabout. Take first right onto Jeffries Street and go to traffic lights. Straight through these lights - then the next and stay on same road for about 1.5 miles. At large roundabout go right round and up Lady Road. Go left at top. This is A701 which you follow all the way out of town till you come to Bilston. Turn left for Roslin at small roundabout.
From Waverley Station (by bus)
Take steps up to Princes Street. Turn right onto North Bridge and cross road. There are 2 bus services that operate to Roslin - Lothian service 15A (not 15) and First Service 62.

Getting there by Aeroplane
Take signs for Edinburgh and Edinburgh City Bypass. At large roundabout take Edinburgh City Bypass south and come off at 4th Junction - Straiton. Follow signs for Peebles, Penicuik on A701. Turn left at Bilston, come into Roslin, straight along main street to two hotels and go straight over and down Chapel Loan. You will see our house sign pointing left. There is no "Bed and Breakfast" sign just the house name.
