Old Fishergate House

Old Fishergate House is one of the oldest houses in St Andrews - dating from about 1650, situated in the old fisherman's area of the town.
Beautifully restored with many period details kept intact, this building has a welcoming charm and is a haven from the bustling world outside.
Breakfast is served in the cosy dining room and early breakfasts can be arranged if required.
For other meals, the town has plenty of fine restaurants, pubs and cafes - Angus and Jennifer will be happy to offer their suggestions.
The house is situated in North Castle Street, just 50 metres from the ruins of St Andrews Castle and close to the Cathedral. The town centre is a few minutes walk away, as is the University, St Salvador's Chapel, the picturesque harbour and a host of other buildings of historical interest.
St Andrews is well served by trains (Leuchars station 3 miles away) and buses (Bus Station in centre of town). It is also ideally located for the airports of Edinburgh (1 hour 15 minutes) and Dundee (20 minutes).
