A very warm welcome awaits you at SCOTHOLM Bed & Breakfast, which is in the village of Connel overlooking Loch Etive and nearby mountains. With Oban just 10 mins away by car, Connel is a relaxing alternative for those who do not want to be in the town.

Our accommodation and housekeeping are of a high standard and guests often compliment us on the comfort of our beds and quality of decor. All of our letting rooms have lovely views, three of which face the loch.

One of our strengths is the quality of our breakfasts which are made to order from locally sourced fresh foods. All our preserves, yoghurt and herbs are homemade or home grown. We offer a variety of teas and our coffee is specially bought in from Venezuela. We cater for all diets where possible, and if a traditional breakfast is not your choice then you can choose a fish or fruit alternative from our menu.

We have private off road parking and also secure garaging for cycles and motorbikes. We also have an attractive garden in which you may sit, if you wish, or wander through on your way to one of the excellent local restaurants, which are within walking distance of Scotholm.

There is much to do and see in this area and we will be only too pleased to offer you suggestions using our local knowledge.

For the more energetic there are walks of differing levels of ability. You could walk the mountains of Beinn Lora (308 mtrs) or Ben Cruachan (1126 mtrs) both within 30 minutes distance by car or simply walk the moors which are easily accessible from behind Scotholm.
