Millhouse
A warm welcome awaits you at our comfortable and cosy home, which is a converted farm steading on the west side of St. Andrews with fine views across farmland towards the town. A short 7 minute drive will take you into the town centre with its award winning beaches, golf courses, university and many attractions both ancient and modern.
We are proud of our 4* rating from VisitScotland, and have 2 bright and spacious guest rooms - 1 twin room with extra long single beds, and 1 double room. Both are ensuite, both have flat screen television with Freeview channels, hospitality tray with a selection of drinks and shortbread, hairdryer, alarm clock and other thoughtful extras to make your stay a home from home!
The ensuites have non slip floors, powerful showers, heated towels and a selection of toiletries with which to pamper yourself.
The octagonal shaped kitchen used to be the actual horsemill, and it is from here that delicious breakfasts are prepared for guests using local produce which we source from our local farmer's markets.
Millhouse breakfast is freshly cooked to order. We serve a traditional cooked Scottish breakfast, toast, juice, a selection of cereals, fruit and yogurts, tea and freshly brewed ground coffee.
We are happy to cater for vegetarian and those with special diets, just let us know in advance!
After a busy day sightseeing, you can relax and unwind in our TV lounge, from where you can also borrow books, games, jigsaws and maps.
For those guests who need to stay connected, we have wifi internet access, so just bring your laptop and connect in the comfort of your own room.
Other facilities include laundry service ( small charge ), ironing board for guests' use, and if you forget your toothbrush or razor, don't worry, I keep a small supply!
