Take the ferry from Troon to Ireland or try a spot of island hopping from Ardrossan to Arran and beyond. Visit Culzean Castle or the Burns National Heritage Centre in Alloway. Extensive leisure facilities are available at Magnum Centre Irvine. Clyde Muirshield Country Park at Lochwinnoch and the RSPB Centre is great for bird lovers. Kelburn at Largs is a haven for children with pony rides, adventure playground, secret grotto and falconry displays. Riding and hacking are available locally.
There is a large lounge with wide screen colour TV and DVD player. It has one family, one double and one twin room. All are ensuite with colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Travel cot and high chair are available on request. On arrival complimentary afternoon tea/supper is available.
A Scottish farmhouse breakfast is served between 0600 and 1000 hours. All food is local produce. All baking jams and marmalades are home made.
