Getting there from the Information Centre
From Glasgow Tourist Information Centre, take A879 (Exit Junction 16 M8) sign posted Milngavie. Follow for 5 miles to roundabout, take second exit to Milngavie, then first right to Langbank.
Follow the road uphill and take the first left .
Auchenhowe Cottage is last house on the left.
Getting There by Railway
From Glasgow Queen Street (George Square) to Milngavie.
From Milngavie Train Station turn right to traffic lights. Take right (Allander Pub) and left at next traffic lights (Torrance/Kirkintilloch.) Take second left to Langbank. Follow the road uphill and take the first left .
Auchenhowe Cottage is last house on the left.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Glasgow Airport take M8 to City Centre, follow sign for Clyde Tunnel. Follow A739, then A81 to Aberfoyle, Bearsden until roundabout.
Follow A81 - Milngavie and at the next roundabout take the second exit to Strathblane, turn right at traffic lights, then second left -
Langbank. Follow the road uphill and take the first left . Auchenhowe Cottage is last house on the left.
