Getting There by Car

From Edinburgh or the south, travel north over the Forth Road Bridge on the A9/M90 and exit at junction 2A for Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes. Stay on the A92 heading to Kirkcaldy and exit off at the North Kirkcaldy roundabout. Follow signs to St Andrews on the A915 for about 18 miles until you reach Highham Toll Junction rest area and bus stop on the left. Turn left towards Peat Inn traveling 1 mile on the B940, Anvil Cottage is on your left.

When traveling from the north take the A91 to St Andrews. From the town take the A915 to Kirkcaldy past Morrison's Supermarket on the south side of St Andrews. Travel 5 miles to Highham Toll Junction rest area and bus stop. Turn right onto the B940 for Peat Inn and travel 1 mile, Anvil Cottage on your left.
