Quiet Location adjacent to Great Glen Way
Lann Dearg is situated off the A82 on the south side of the River Moriston. The hill behind us is called Sron na Muic, literally the snout of the pig, 500m high.
Within sight of the Telford bridge over the Moriston and 5 minutes walk from the centre of Invermoriston.
Leaving Lann Dearg
Walking down our drive you can see the old Telford Bridge. This is a stone arched bridge attributed to Thomas Telford, the engineer who created the Caledonian Canal. The A82 is now carried on a newer bridge dating from 1936 but we still use the old bridge as a shortcut to the village.
Self Contained Accommodation
The Studios are contained in a purpose built detached building next to our house. Each Studio accommodates 2 people either for bed and breakfast or self catering. We have 2 Standard Studios on the ground floor and 1 Superior Studio on the first floor.
Your own Kitchen
Each Studio has its own kitchen. B&B guests have use of microwave and toaster as well as kettle and hospitality tray. Wine glasses, plates and cutlery all available. Full kitchen use for B&B guests including hob and oven can be made available for an additional per night charge.
Power Showers
Our guests all speak highly of our walk in power showers. Shower gel and shampoo provided of course, plus "rain hats" for the water shy.
Breakfast Baskets
B&B guests have the option of taking breakfast in our Dining Room or a "Breakfast Basket" containing a substantial continental breakfast prepared to order for you. Studios have toasters for the Bagels and English Muffins or just to make brown or white toast. Crockery and cutlery in the Studio and your own fridge to keep everything fresh.
Superior Studio
Our Superior Studio is on the first floor with full width windows giving views across Glenmoriston. Like all the Studios it is furnished in contemporary style. Most of our visitors say they want to come back and many do.
