Strathspey House

All guests staying at Strathspey House are privileged to FREE UNLIMITED use of leisure facilities at the nearby "Dalfaber Golf and Country Club" (only 0.75 miles from Strathspey House). Guests can use the 9-hole golf course (bring your own equipment or hire on site), swimming pool, whirlpool jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and gymnasium - use of these excellent facilities is completely free of charge during your stay at Strathspey House.

We are pleased to offer guests free WiFi (wireless internet access).

Strathspey House is an elegant Edwardian villa situated on Aviemore's main street with private parking. We are located within easy walking distance of the many restaurants, bars and amenities which Aviemore has to offer. The perfect base for visiting the spectacular Cairngorms National Park and the Scottish Highlands.

Strathspey House has two spacious, luxurious and individually styled rooms - all with a generous en-suite, TV, hospitality tray, hairdryer and tourist information. All rooms have views over the village to Craigellachie Nature Reserve or the Cairngorm mountain range.

Ruthven Suite ~ our finest accommodation offers an antique super-king size four poster bed, an integral private sitting room (sofa, TV and DVD/VCR player with a selection of Scottish themed DVDs/Videos) and an en-suite shower room.

Craigellachie Room ~ charming king size double room retaining original fireplace and cornicing with a pair of Victorian carver chairs and an en-suite bathroom (power shower over bath).

Enjoy a hearty and varied breakfast with choice of Full Scottish, Extensive Continental, Vegetarian Option and our "house special" - Strathspey House Porridge. All fayre is traditionally cooked on our Aga and served in the comfort of the breakfast conservatory.

For your comfort, Strathspey House is a strictly non-smoking and pet-free establishment.

Unfortunately, Strathspey House does not accommodate children under 16 years of age.

Single guests are welcome and rates are available on request.

WE CAN ALSO OFFER A FOUR STAR SELF-CATERING COTTAGE, THE RETREAT, ATTACHED TO STRATHSPEY HOUSE. THE RETREAT HAS AN OPEN PLAN LIVING, DINING AND KITCHEN AREA, A BEDROOM WITH KING SIZE DOUBLE BED AND A FULLY TILED SHOWER AND WC ROOM. THE RETREAT CAN ACCOMMODATE 2 ADULTS AND IS USUALLY LET ON A WEEKLY BASIS, HOWEVER, "LAST MINUTE" SHORT/WEEKEND BREAKS ARE AVAILABLE.
