Set in a beautiful part of Scotland with lovely views of the Campsie Fells and surrounding countryside, this is an ide3al location for exploring Loch Lomond, The Trossachs and Central Scotland.
Situated one mile south of the pretty village of Drymen, directly on the West Highland Way, this rural site offers 20 pitches for tents only. Shower and toilet block. Fresh water and washing up facilities. Washing and drying facilities. No access to tents for motor vehicles - parking available close by. No facilities for vans/caravans: no space for large frame tents.
This campsite is mostly used by walkers and therefore we expect all our visitors to observe peace and quiet after 10.00pm. No booking required.
Loch Lomond is 10 minutes by car, Stirling and Glasgow 40 minutes. Lifts generally available to the village.
Drymen, the gateway to Loch Lomond, has an attractive square with Post Office, bank and grocer as well as a number of interesting small shops, hotels, pubs and restaurants. After your first day's walk on the West Highland Way this is the ideal place to relax, recuperate and enjoy our peaceful countryside and beautiful views.
