Craigburn Farmhouse (Nr Gretna)

Ideal stopover to and from Scotland and Northern Ireland .For guests staying longer,Craigburn makes an excellent touring base for the Lake District,South West Scotland,Solway Firth,Eden Valley,Hadrians Wall,Kielder Reservoir,Gretna Green and Carlisle, with many houses,museums and castles of interest.For the more active,sporting activities,horse riding,golf,fishing,go-karting,cycle hire and swimming are all within easy travelling distance.The house has been modernised,all six bedrooms having central heating,en-suite,colour tv and tea and coffee making facilities.Dinner is served in our traditional dining room with log fires in the winter months.Afterwards coffee can be taken in our delightful lounge with views over the gardens and farmland.We also run a small farmhouse restaurant serving traditional roast carvery dinners on Saturday evening and Sunday lunchtimes,with our homemade sweets a speciality.A selection of wines are available to have with your meal and we also keep a small well stocked bar.We have a large car park and garden with swings and climbig frame.
