Lochenlee Guest House

Ideally located in the quiet residential area of historic Dumfries, less than half a mile from the town centre and all of its attractions, this family-run business offers luxury accommodation and a warm Scottish welcome.
The traditional Victorian sandstone villa offers the perfect holiday retreat. Each of the four beautifully decorated bedrooms, with either en suite facilities or private bathroom, a colour TV and tea and coffee facilities, provide the perfect place to relax after an exciting day out discovering the region’s fantastic visitor attractions.
After a restful night in one of the well appointed en suite bedrooms, indulge yourself with a full Scottish breakfast or something light if you prefer.
Lochenlee is ideally located for exploring the historic town of Dumfries and all its attractions. Famed for its connection with the national bard, Robert Burns, his former house now serves as a dedicated museum where you can see the desk and chair where he sat to write, some 200 years ago. In the town’s 18th century watermill, the Robert Burns Centre brings his story to life with original manuscripts and personal belongings. Excellent cycling, walking and pony trekking routes are also available close-by as well as peaceful fishing areas and top-class golf courses.
